Lately, We’ve Been…

Summer recap: 🎆⛳️☀️🫧🏊🏻‍♀️🍷🎤⚾️ I’ve been making this breakfast casserole weekly. Ava and I don’t like eggs but we both need more protein, so this is my way to make it easy for both of us. It reheats well so it’s a great way to prep out breakfast for a few days, and Anthony approves 👍🏼 August slipped away like a bottle of wine 🍷🍇 Historically speaking, Augusts are pretty cool… here’s praying that this one is the coolest yet ✨ 31 was a learning year, for sure. I already knew some of these things, but life dealt a lot of reminders and new lessons. Feral toddler times are upon us…. And these are just the moments when I bothered to grab the camera 🙂 If you come to our house and find a remote in the bathroom, it’s a good bet that Ava has been there 🙃 Fiercely independent and already talking back. Lord help us. America 250 🇺🇸 What an amazing milestone for this beautiful nation. Loving this cutie watercolor kit from @grabieofficial 🤩🖌️ I’ve painted more in the past two weeks than I have in a few years because it’s so convenient. To the 9 year old me that loved every episode of Lizzie McGuire, to the 10 year old me that wrote Hilary fan letters, to the 11 year old me that sang “Fly” in the school talent show, to the 12 year old me that had every CD, to the 13 year old me that watched “With Love” and “Play With Fire” on repeat on YouTube. Last night, seeing one of my favorite artists with people I love so, so much was truly what dreams are made of ✨🪩
